That scratch on the 9-ball made it 3-2. Maung did win the next game, taking it to 4-2, after Orcollo's kick on the 2-ball left a shot. But that was Maung's last winning game.
 
The SEA games are basically a smaller version of the Olympics, so I don't believe there is any prize money.
Many countries will pay a hefty bonus to their athletes for medalling in an event though. I remember reading somewhere that the Philippines pays around $5,000 to its gold medalists.
