Hi Jen,

Sorry to hijack. Tried to search for a shirt from mccreadywear.com this morning. Did you and Keith give up the site?

Yes. Keith decided the amount of money invested did not produce a large enough ROI to maintain the website. Learned a lot about T-shirt business. Keith wanted higher quality material, which made the cost of each T-shirt more expensive, unless you purchase 1,000-plus. You have one of the Nightmare shirts, and you can feel the difference in the material with Keith's shirts and other T-shirt brands. Keith's shirts are soft and comfy. People do like them, so that's a good thing. :)

It was fun while it lasted. We're going to venture into something new, like maybe moving to Vegas. I can retire and concentrate on Keith and I having fun in the autumn of our lives.

This working I'm doing now, like a mule just to live in D.C., is ridiculous. Taxes are killing me. :o

There are other ways to have t-shirts printed.

Your copyrighted image is stored at a shop.

Orders are placed thru a website.

T-shirt is individually printed and shipped.

You do not have to stock all the different t-shirts, the shop does.

I just purchased a couple of shirts in a Pool Shooting theme and they used the Hanes t-shirt. Arrived in less than 7 days.

PM me.

PS: If you do end up doing it this way could I get a "finder's fee" of a t-shirt? XXL please.

I learned a lot about the T-shirt business. :D

As far as printing, it depends on whether you want screen printed or heat pressed.

Also, if you elect to get one color, you can get gradiated color of that one color. Screen printing won't do that. And, of course, if you want more than one color, the cost goes up. Never mind getting something printed on the back or on the sleeve, because that's more cost.

The material, there's a lot of materials out there, from 100 percent cotton, to made in America cotton, to tri-blend, jersey, 60/40, 50/50, et cetera. Keith went with the Next Level sueded apparel T-shirt, which was more expensive, but we both just loved this material.

Keith wanted to have hands-on with his T-shirt line because he enjoys interacting with the people. The drop-ship company is not going to be able to personally autograph the T-shirts, when requested, and/or provide personally autographed photos.

Keith sent the T-shirts out immediately upon the order via Postal Priority. We were going to the post office a lot. Yes, it was more expensive to do it that way, but the recipient received their product within 3 days from the time we shipped it, and we had a receipt that it went out, just in case it got lost.

So there you have it. Yes, there are more economical ways to sell T-shirts, but Keith wanted his T-shirts to be a little bit better than the norm if he was going to put his name on it. The problem with T-shirts in the pool industry is like everything else. There's a limited group of prospective customers in pool. We're just not mainstream as other sports. Sad but true.

Jen,

If you still have the medium black "Nightmare" tee shirt, I'll take it.

Lyn

Lyn, I am pretty sure we do. I will confirm and send you a PM if we do. I have to wait for His Highness to wake up. As soon as he does, I'll let you know.

Thank you.

I think googling "azbilliards.com" followed by whatever it is you're looking for, yields better results than the 'search' function much of the time.

That's what I've been doing for years....
...and did you ever notice that even when you don't use AZ in the Google request...
...AZ shows up anyway.

My original IPad doesn't search as well as my fairly new IPad.....
...every PC that I've had searches better...does Bill Gates own a piece of Google?

Do you have a black XXL available?

If so, how can I get one?

Thanks for your interest, fathomblue. Unfortunately, all the large sizes, to include 3X, 2X, 1X are sold out.

Interestingly, those were the most popular sizes, especially XXL.

Yep, I do that sometimes, but I come here and search when I am looking for a quote or a photo that I shared here years ago.

At one time, I used to write a lot of pool writings here as well as attach a lot of photographs. I like being able to search for my name "JAM" and then a keyword, hoping to find the thread with the information and/or photo I am looking for.

For example, search for "JAM" and then "Etta James." Some of my favorite threads will pop up.

Interestingly, though, today when you do that search on Google, the forum comes up in a weird and different format, which looks like this below. :grin-square:

It still works, though, and I can find the data, info, writing, or photo that I'm looking for. This forum represents a pool archives of such for me with historical data. :)

"site:forums.azbilliards.com <enter search term here>" on Google works infinitely better than the archaic search function on the forums.

I just ran a search for "Zero-X" and got...no hits.

Then searched for "lowry" and up popped a thread called..."zero-x".

Is it case sensitive, fercryinoutloud?

I did Zero-X and it was the sixth item down....
...did Zero-X billiards....the whole page was about Lowry.

I may have to put one of my Earthquake shirts up for sale....
...seeing as how they're now collectors items...
$586...plus shipping

It's XL, by the way...that's the size of the shirt.....and the price....

Glad for you.

But I got a page that said the result could not be found.

I just did it again. Keywords "Zero-X" and (to be certain) "zero-x" got the "Sorry, the search failed to match..." messages. Had all open forums selected, including child forums.

I enter "lowry", and then get the zero-x thread, about 12 items down.
