searing cue 4 sale

Searing Mods

Question....how much would the posters ask for this Q if they were selling? How would they describe it? It sounds like DENNIS might have re-worked the joint to his specs....

I got to hit balls with a Predator SP that Searing modded. I think he filled in the gap in the predator shaft and retapered. Perhaps some other things. I can tell you that the cue played great. So much so that I decided to contact Searing to see if I could get another cue like that one or hit like that one. At the time I did not know that Searing was so sought after- I just knew that the cue hit like a cue is supposed to- perfectly. I got on his list that day and I really hope that I pop out again in a couple of years.

Also, cueaddicts has/had a Black with a Searing shaft-

It justs keeps getting deeper and deeper. He has all those big offers that are more than what people are bidding on Ebay. No one is interested here but he keeps begging people to buy it. Now he is going to pull it from Ebay because of some things he said was not right.

I don't know what it will take for him to get the message that

NO ONE WANTS IT
I wish you would tell all these damn ebayers that keep emailing why did I stop the auction that
could you do it please BOTH CUES ARE SOLD

I for one like posts like the ones from Nick. Helps me rule out people to buy cues from. I think of it as a community service really.

LMFAO...................................................:D :D :D

I think this site is geared more for collectors. I am not a collector i am a player.

I have spent more on cues I have a feeling than some of these posters have spent on there cars I would bet. Because I am on dennis's list I only felt obligated to not continue selling either cue. But I have had a few emails that make realize there are more than a few people that would like exactly a cue like these are made all ask what is the last offer what will you take. I feel badly for getting those folks hopes up.Even though I have even been asked to trade the 2 cues and 775 for a balabushka today. I replied that I was a player not a collector and never really liked the way those cues played.I am positave he thinks I must be nuts. I played with a balabushka in the early 70's and only really liked it for straight. You see being a Russian from New York what else would I play with. These cues were made to do battle not sit in a case. Because of this I might relist one soon. I know you collectors will give it no concern but for a player like me Seeing something like this on ebay has to make your heart skip a beat. And a collector will never understand that feeling or maybe they know it too well! Nick...

I'm confused....up above, you say:

"Because of this, I might relist one soon."

But yesterday evening, you said:

"I wish you would tell all these damn ebayers that keep emailing why did I stop the auction that could you do it please BOTH CUES ARE SOLD"

If they're sold, how're you gonna relist one? And let's not forget, these guys do the E-bay thing on occasion, too....so calling them "damn e-bayers" isn't very polite.

I'm just sayin'.............

There you go again, lost in Neverland. Look, I'm going to make this easy for you...sell the overpriced sneaky petes, give the guy the $775, sell the Bushka for $10,000 to $15,000. There, you made a profit of at least $7,000....Now you can turn around and buy Searing's to you're hearts content.

By the way, I think you're full of it.

I said both cues sold because I had offers worth accepting. I kept on getting repeat emails 4-6 from 4 buyers. I thought they would cool their jets. I am so astounished with these cues. Why sell? I will post some pics of past playing cues soon and most will wish they bought them scruggs cues. I will say I can tell no difference between the play of the scruggs shafts and the searing shafts. A cue can play only so good. When I post pics I will tell wich azer gotem they are loveing them so much I can't be sad about selling them but happy they got them because they are all class. Anyway Those mod cues are makeing alot of people lose thier minds so for all them I will say Get a Scruggs! Get a Cochran Get a Frey If I blind fold you I dought you could feel a differance between them If you only have 500 get a Rauenzahn or 800 a Rick Howard. All these cues are made for players. No need to play favorites here you will get your money's worth out of any of these. I can only advise on cues I liked when I played with them.

If I needed the cash Your advice is very solid. You are no fool. But when it comes to playing cues where most minds end mine begins. I know that must sting to hear and I mean no disrespect by it jusdafax

sagepool@aol.com He said he was a friend of georges and if you rember I am a Russian from N.Y. and can't rember george ever haveing any friends . I can rember the road players takeing out insureance in the poolroom when I was a kid. Only old timers will rember this. What was road player insurance? It is when a player picks up another players Balabushka and takes it on the road. If he got stuck he would callback and sell the cue back to whoever wanted it knowing they would send top dollar to buy their cue back. Every week or two one of those things changed hands in the fireside biliard lounge in binghamton. I figure sagepool would be maybe 200 years old but not sure

The cue and my stroke are a perfect match. I didn't expect that. So I never planed to keep more than one. I had a change of heart. So I'll just have to sell my 71 Joss and it is already being begged for and a conversion cue ebony titlist with ivory joint and make two more people happy, All that good carma I guess. I will just have to force myself not to buy more cues with the little bit of money I get from those things HA HA HA It will be a test of mindless over it dosen't matter Kind of like a smoker not lighting up again. How long could you go and not buying a stick especially for you. Always looking No More Also is it possable for a old Joss to have burton Spain veneer work? When I post Joss pics You will wonder that yourself.
