I received my Searing on tuesday and today is thursday, I have about 40 games of 8 ball on it. I am totally happy with the cue. It is not the fanciest Searing out there but Dennis did it to perfection. It weighs 19.7 ozs with either shaft. One shaft is 12.8mm and the other is 13mm, which I havent hit with yet. It is the only cue Dennis has done with this wood and when I first sent the wood to him he stated that he would not guarantee the cue. Half way through the turning process of the wood he told me that if i didnt like the cue he'd make me another. The wood went through 3huricanes and from the initial turn to the last the wood never moved. It has an Elephant ear dark choclate brown wrap, that it took closing my eyes and turning to locate the seam. running your hands up the cue from butt to shaft the only difference you can feel is at the bottom wrap and top wrap, you can not feel the rings. The points are perfect and SHARP!!!!!!!!! The woods and whole cue is book matched. Balence point is roughly 19 inches maybe a 64 under. This cue plays, when you hit you KNOW were your cue ball is going. Dennis may do this with all of his cues but he told me he could play with this cue and if I ever decide to sell it to contact him, he wants it back. I have had a Gus, Barry, Schick, Bender, and Perry Weston build me cues which I no longer have. I will not insult any of these Masters, I will state that Dennis does not take a back seat to any of them. As with any of the cue makers mentioned the wait is taxing but the result is the highest degree of perfection. My pictures do NOT do the cue justice.
