Back in Jersey in the early '60's when i first started playing there were tons of good to great players and to man back then they would not teach anything to anybody for fear they would get beat by it someday.So every time i saw something i didn't understand or know how to do i just would keep trying it until i got it right. But in all fairness there were a couple of old timers that did not compete anymore and once in a while they would show you something. I tell and show anybody anything they ask if i know the answer.
I'm 63 now and feel it's time to pass along a little knowledge to the younger players.
 
I know that this topic will be in contrast with other opinions but has helped me. I had always heard that the Phillipino players always play everything with inside english so the spin will help pocket balls, After hearing this, I played inside english on every shot that I included in my practive routine and it helped me understand more about inside english that I once feared! Now, After all that, I love inside english and look forward to using it when necessary!
