This is great

I've been going to this great tourament for several years and think its simply the best. So what if there are prositutes. If you want one (and I know that absolutely no pool player would ever need or want one), get one or just stay away from them. I personally like the excitement of having the choice ;) . I felt a little uncomfortable with the con guys (3 card monte, ect.), but; like I said leave them alone and you should have no problem. Enjoy this event while it lasts. I think its the greatest of all time. See you there.

I have no personal problems with them at all. But when more then a few people staying at the hotel have been robbed in their rooms, those group of crimminals (yes, prostitution is a crime in Kentucky) are high on the list. Why do so many people on this forum have a hard time admitting that prosititutes could be suspects in these crimes at the DCC?

Is this guy a pimp?

The pimps and prostitutes are there, allright. Didn't seem to bother many people, as far as I've seen. Having lived in post-Giuliani New York all these years, it was a sigh of relief to see there are still men alive who are vigorous enough not to faint at the sight of a prostitute. The only cop I've seen at the hotel was having a beer and smoking in the hallway with the cuemakers. Wonderful!

Funny you should bring that up, Lewdo26. My friend who just got back night before last said there were several uniformed Louisville policemen on site, 24/7. I can't imagine a uniformed officer drinking alcohol while on duty. Would that have been an off-duty hotel security man you saw drinking the brewskie?

Matter of fact, if I'm not mistaken, I think my friend said one of the uniformed cops had a dog with him and was seen strolling the hallways.

JAM,

When I was there, there were more uniformed police than years past. eating food and drinking water or soda yes, but no alcohol like you stated.

I saw an argument begin to ESCALATE in the downstairs action room.
Security came from nowhere to stop any undesirable events from taking place. I think the Exectutive West is doing a great job.

Things must have tightened up, then. I was there for the first 4 days. Of course, you never know who is a cop and who isn't, but I only saw one uniformed cop while I was there. Certainly no dogs. God, seems like I'm missing the heavy action!
