Just wondering what anyone out there who currently owns or once played with an Arnot Q thinks of them...

Thanks,
Joaquin.

I have a jump/break from Arnot Q... It breaks good and jumps good. The wood he used (curly maple) was beautiful. It arrived in mint condition and was made from great materials and with great attention to detail. The tip is too hard to scuff, and I plan on replacing it with a White Diamond. The finish seems to be somewhat fragile, knicking very easily, and slightly cracking around the joints. It was also expensive.

Overall, I would avoid them. There are just too many great cuemakers that will provide a better product in the same price range.

Now, my cue was ordered a few years ago, and maybe he has/will change his finish (which is my main complaint with the cue). Give him a call and talk with him, he is very helpful.

I have just talked to Arnie from Arnot Q's, and he has changed his finish. We worked out a deal for him to refinish it and put a leather wrap on it, I regret not contacting him sooner. I'll send the cue out right after New Years, and I'll post when I get it back. It really does play great.

you got to love somebody that is willing to go back and make things right or better.
