Selling 70's Adam Galaxy refinished

I'm sellling a new refinished Adam Galaxy Cue. Obly the leather wrap wasn't changed to let the cue original. The cue is playing hard and direct. Comes with one shaft (I don't know if it's original, but I bought it with this) and a Moori Medium- Tip. In the 3rd Edition Bluebook it's worth over 1100$.

Want 600$ for it.

That is not the original shaft.

cue is paid for coming from overseas so... lets see...

hes a nice guy good communication so far despite the language barrier

i dont care about the shaft. i can make shafts. the butt looks ok from the pics. lets hope its straight

Nope. not the origial. the ring work would have been identical to the butt.
That was a great buy for sure. both are very nice cues by the way!

Well its strange this, as these are not the only two 70s Adam cues I have seen with non matching white collars. I just wondered if there was anything in that. I agree the blue book shows matching shafts but it just seems more than just a coincidence to see more than three with non-matching shafts.

A lot of people took Palmer shafts and used them on Adam cues. I've had a couple and found that many old Palmer shafts screw right on them for a near perfect fit. In those days there were a lot of Palmer shafts and I'm wondering if the pic you've shown is one.

well see. i dont care about shafts. i wanted the butt. i been looking for this cue for a while for a friend. i can make shafts until i drop :D

these adams should bring more then they do. 8 points and almost 100 inlays :eek: :eek: :eek:

ask any cuemaker to copy this cue. youll pay 3000$ easy

a friend told me this cue was like 135$ brand new :eek: :eek: :eek:

thats either the uglyiest cue I have ever seen of one of the coolest. So far I can't figure it out. I would stop to look at it if it was at the pool hall I played at.

your paying for time and rare ness. A eagel penny is worth over 500 dollars, when in fact its only worth a penny.

This cue is amazing. I love the old cues, just love 'em. With Mr. Tate's help I have been able to pick up some nice Palmer cues. I also have fallen for the Hoppe's as well. I guess I need to add Adam's to the wish list too. Does it ever end????

Randy G told me this was an expensive hobby.............he was right!!!
