Whatever else you do, buy an appropriate amount of insurance for the cue and whenever you ship, do it with a tracking number and in a manner where the buyer has to sign for it. If you don’t already have your money up front, doing these things won’t solve that problem but they can take care of a lot of other headaches that can arise.
