I see there is a red and black wire. Does this hook up directly to 110 also what's with the fireball motor. Does it last longer and Provide more power. Thanks and I am very interested. I've been looking at one of these to replace my current spindle. Are these suitable for inlay and Pocket work with continual use. Thanks for the info. Mark

Mark, that is a DC motor. You can actually change the speed of the motor by just changing the voltage. There are better ways of doing it but that will work just fine. These motors are intended for RC cars but are well suited for this spindle.

I have/use the older Wolfgang TB-350s..
So, I don't know about theTB- 650's..

I do knowthe TB -650 was what I would have use next..

I tell you, buy this spindle.. Makes a good back-up. Easy to setup.. "Remove and replace", No water or air lines...
You saving a bit of $$ now and, if your spindle breaks, , you will not have to wait a couple of weeks to get one.
Just "incase" you need one to finish your cue work and yourspindle breaks down..

It's the best 'Low cost" Spindle for doing inlay and Machine engraving.. no screwing around with a 1/8" collar adapter!!!
Easy to remove and replace when changing to the Laminate/Routers when having to do the "Mediun/heavy duty" cutting, etc...
Thanks for the posting guys!!
Thanks for the interest and info...

Have a great weekend everyone!!!
Alton
