Selling palmer 3rd cat. Mod.#16 *szamboti forearm?

For Sale is a PALMER 3RD CATALOG MODEL 16,

Specs.
Cue rolls straight together and apart

Butt:
weight; 16.4oz
leather wrap
*Gus Szamboti made blank
size is 20.8mm at joint, 27.7mm top of wrap, 33mm base of wrap and 34.5mm butt;

Shaft
weight 3.8oz
12.4mm at top of ferule; 12.8 mm base of ferule; 20.8 mm at joint

*From my research I believe this is a Szamboti made blank (based on the length of the points) but I would appreciate it if some of the more knowledgeable collectors could verify. (calling Mr.TATE)

It is highly likely it was made by the Szamboti's during this period. Very few spliced blanks were made in the Palmer shop during the 3rd catalog days and none of the ebony nose spliced blanks were made elsewhere for them. From the pics it looks like a nice example.
