I am a little shaky on the history, but I believe the tour started in 1996 and went through to just a few years ago.
I was curious to see the tournament by tournament and year by year results...
Someone should preserve those for posterity.
1. Taco Bell Senior 9 Ball Apr 18-21, 1996 in Greenfield, Wis. 1st place was Grady Mathews. 2nd was Bob Vanover.
2. The Senior Players-Virginia May 3-5, 1996 in Alexandria, Va. Winner was Danny DiLiberto. 2nd place was Paul Thornley.
3. The Senior Players-Chicago June 13-16, 1996 in Grayslake, Il. 1st was Claude Bernatchez. Vanover was 2nd.
4. The Grand Casino Senior Players-Biloxi, Miss. Jan 28-Feb 1, 1997. 1st was Steve Mizerak & 2nd was Vanover.
5. Magoos Senior 9 Ball-Tulsa, Ok. Mar 20-23, 1997 won by Buddy Hall. 2nd was diLiberto.
6. The Taco Bell Senior 9 Ball #2 Apr 24-27, 1997 in Greenfield, Wis. Won by Paul Thornley. 2. Mike LeBron
7. The Cue-Can-Do Senior 9 Ball held May 25-27, 1997 in Schaumberg, Il.
Won by Bill Incardona, 2nd was Bob Vanover.
8. The Senior 9 Ball Master's-Nashville, Tenn held June26-29. 1997 won by Mike Massey. Bernatchez was the runner up.
9. The Senior 9 Ball Master's-Madison, Tenn. on May 26-31, 1998 won by Claude Bernatchez and 2nd, Nick Varner
10. The Pine Needles Senior 9 Ball Championship in Southern Pines, Tex. on Aug 27-30, 1998 won by Buddy Hall and 2nd, Mike Massey.
That's the first 10.
Of note also that Howard Vickery won a senior U.S. Open.
