I don't like Razoo's but Campo Verde sounds good.

I'm not the right gender. :o I'm also not in the area, I'm just familiar with the area due to spending some time around there many yrs ago.

I'm looking forward to your updates and pics of the event. It sounds like it's going to be a great time.

Can't wait - Can't Wait - Hope to See All You Chica's at Rusty's

Saturday can't get here soon enough. All you 9-ball babes, come on out to play some 9-ball. Tracie has worked very hard to be our host site. Everyone at the Rusty's establishment are ready for us to show our stuff.

Also our main #1 sponsor, OB Cues, will be with us as well. So let's show our appreciation by coming out to play. Bring your friends, families, fans, everybody -- come out to either be part of the action or watch the action.

We had 51 women come and compete in this event! It was a long but great, fun day!

On the one-loss side guaranteed 9th-12th, here are the players playing at 10am tomorrow morning:

Lisa Marr, Amanda Lampert, Kim Pierce, Michelle Abernathy, Lisa Henderson Major, Tara McCracken, and Julie Stephenson. Samm Diep and Michelle Ram were still playing when I left (last match of the night).

On the winner's side at 11am tomorrow morning: Melinda versus Cristina Dela Garza and Bonnie Plowman versus Heather Lloyd.

Updates from the OB Cues Tour Stop at Arlington

Got home a little while ago. Things still hopping at Rusty's. The finals match is now underway between Cristina DeLaGarza and Heather Lloyd. Cristina is have an awesome, awesome weekend. She won the winner's bracket/hot seat plus she also won the WPBA Qualifier for the WPBA Tour Championship in November at Hollywood, FL. Cristina, YOU GO GIRL!!! This will be her first ever WPBA event and we are all excited for her. :clapping:

Let's see:

Melinda Bailey & Tara McCracken 5th/6th
Bonnie Plowman 4th
Lisa Marr 3rd

And Heather and Cristina duking it out in the finals. It is true double elimination format so Heather will have to beat Cristina twice, if she wants 1st place and the guaranteed $750. Woo Hoo!


Also yours truly won one of the OB Cues which was raffled off today. I placed 17th-24th in the Main Event and also won a cue. Come to think about it--I had an awesome weekend as well.

Man!!!! you spend a couple of weeks with a champion and Butta Boom Butta Bing!! LOL. Just watching Shane for a few days at the Texas Open helped my game! His fundamentals are sooooo good!

Cristina is really playing good!! Heather is a champion as well! I wish I could have stayed to watch this one!!

Heather Lloyd won

It was an Austin, TX finals and I heard that Heather won. 1st set 7-6; and the 2nd set 7-2.

Both ladies played very well all weekend.
