I am pleased to announce that we will be streaming this weekend from
Strokers 2 in Tampa ,Florida .Have to work the details out about the internet
with the room owner but all looks well and I am sure it will be a great time.
Update : Have not spoke with the owner yet but two people
at the room said the Wi Fi was BAD when I spoke with them .......so it's now at
tenative status until I speak with some one who can do a speed test from the
computer hooked to the router .http://www.speedtest.net

Bump for Update

Need to talk to someone in the know before I can confirm this stream will
happen .Keeping the faith either way :thumbup:UPDATE
#2 Spoke with Hosea ,the room owner .He and I walked through a few things
over the phone concerning the internet speed .All looks a GO !! See you guys
this weekend .

the good ,the bad ,and the ugly

Seems Verizion DSL has thrown a wrench into the streaming . Guys thank you
for the vote of confidence but even thee best of us can't control the internet
Went by three stores this morning looking for a "Unlimited plan " on a good air
card .BEWARE they are all 5GB of data only which would not cover a good day
of uploading video :sorry: Hosea and I both jumped up and down with Verizon
but they can't do any upgrades or help until monday .I even went as far as to try and hack into a
wireless signal from a place next door .I think it's a florist and the pass word aint roses :wink:
To our defense Hosea,Tony,and myself all checked the speed early in the week to
make sure we had enough to cover a stream and even now it checks around 625kbps which is almost
twice what is needed .However it comes and goes ,and to SDE's good advice
we even tried disabling the internet juke box (thanks SDE) Still a rollercoaster of ok to worse all evening .
Ok now for the POSITIVE note ...its all POSITIVE . 1st I want to say that Tony
and Natalie have been great to me and were completely cool about the
glitch in the internet . I assured Tony I could take the footage and restream
it this week or next (pending if I stream next weekend) and add in some good
advertising and promotions for them .I feel as a streamer that that is what I
should be for these tournaments is not only a streamer but a co promoter of
sorts. So again a BIG thanks to Tony ,Natalie ,and Hosea for looking out for
me in spite of things out of our control .It's still been a great tournament and
I got to see Jerry Calderon win a real grinder of a match tonight and met
alot of really nice folks here .Will post up a restream schedule as soon as I
know all the details of next weekend .Thanks to all the followers who did not
lose faith in me . We will be back online at 12 noon ,if anyone in the area has
a USB air card bring it by ....the help would be appreciated .Lastly at least there
was alot of other GREAT streams this weekend and I was not left alone in the
dark .
