Does anyone remember what Janette’s answer was to the question posed to her on HBO by Bryant Gumble a while ago about why the women are so dominant on TV in Billiards?

That one word answer as I remember…starts with “S” ends with “X” and there is an “E” in there somewhere.

We all know sex sells, could this be the “it” the men need to get ahead?

If so what do you think are many of the synonym reference words/phrases of the billiard world we all use?

I’ll start off the thoughts with:

Stroke

Butt

Ball(s)

Back and Forth

In-side and “Out-side

Janette Lee has a nice rack..... I think topless womens pool should be the new law. Sorry ladies if you want to play, you'll have to take the top off..... No the AC does have to be on that cold, it keeps the filt tight and the tips firm......


I'd never leave that pool room.....:D

Timothy, you bring up a good point. I remember somewhere reading about the snooker fan base in England and how they like looking at the players dressed up in their finery. And even here in bloody America, you hear people saying "There is nothing that makes a man look better than a tuxedo". Maybe if the women liked what they were looking at, more people would be watching pocket billiards on the telly.

This is really more of a snooker thing, but when we would say "hard draw" on this side of the pond, the term is "deep screw" over there.
