Shipping is insane on about anything. Im a wal mart plus member….they shop for me and deliver it for 50 a year and I get free paramount tv and free shipping on anything and wal mart will have about anything like Amazon now. I have a little money but I will NOT pay 36 bucks for shipping on anything. Ill live without it.

Yeah, where are you shipping to op? Are you sure your info is correct. I just tossed a hat into my cart and shipping was $6.69 for UPS Ground Advantage. Maybe there was a site glitch or something? Try again.

I’m in AZ. The hat was $30, the total was $66 and change. I thought maybe I’d accidentally ordered two hats. That’s when I saw the shipping prices.

USPS Ground is regional, I'm in the great lakes then there's NE, Mid Atlantic, SE, SW, MW, W PNW. The furthest regions will have higher rates but NOT MUCH difference for lightweight items. My price to ship an 8oz hat to Seyberts in a 6x6x6 box = $4.88, they may not even know or even care since most of the items are bulkier and people will be likely buying multiple items. You may try to login as a guest, I didn't have any shipping choices.


20 lbs shipped to PHX for me would be $26 but 25 lbs is $61 some of the USPS rate hikes are WHACKY. But either way Seyberts is insanely gouged.

Hey hey, now! I’ve been looking to replace my “More Cowbell” hat for a couple few years now to no avail.

You wouldn’t happen to have the means to bang that out- More (on top) cowbell pic with a drumstick (in the middle) and Cowbell! (on bottom)? Not bubble letters, but a similarly jaunty font.

Mayhaps the hat would even be corduroy?

My favorite hat out of thousands I've bought has a built in gray beard and it says "My eyes are up here lady".

On 12/13/25 I ordered a Christmas present for my daughter in law who lives in Peoria, Illinois. It was supposed to be there before Christmas. On 12/17/25 it was in East Peoria, across the river from Peoria, with delivery scheduled for the next day. The next day it was sent to Winnipeg, Canada. After coming back through customs it made it’s way through many states and was delivered to her yesterday .. it was labeled a “sortation error”

You can't compare a hat that fits neatly in a little box to a 31" long package. They cost more to ship, to insure and in packing materials. I think the triangular boxes are about $4 a pop when I order 50. They are probably a bit cheaper if you can buy several thousands, but the point is that packaging materials are expensive..

I am getting the same thing for a $30 hat. The API that their shopping site is using may be broken, or maybe these items are shipping from China, or Seyberts just decided to really start screwing people over with shipping costs. Your guess is as good as mine.

And they're packed by people not machines. Shipping ain't cheap but there's a reason for most of it. You want to buy just one item you're gettin hammered on shipping. LOTS of places are the same way. Seyberts isn't Amazon/Ebay.

I feel you Tim. I have a Defy shiaft that was processed on Nov 29. Shipped out on Nov 30 via USPS and it's still not here. I have received 3 different notifications from USPS that it has been delayed again at 3 different locations. Very aggravating
This was not ordered from Seyberts so more of a reflection on USPS. For the prices they are trying to charge for shipping this kind of stuff is really unacceptable

After checking on this hat pricing yesterday 3 times and getting three different prices for the same hat ranging from $6.77 to $33, I actually made an order from them as I needed a few things and they always treated me good in the past. Well last night I get a welcome back email from them as it had been awhile since I ordered, and it also asked for feedback to better serve me. I replied that this was going on on the forum and that I had gotten 3 different widely varying shipping prices, and that there seemed to be a problem there.
They used to be an advertiser on here and I think still are and have a pretty good reputation.
I'm sure I'll get a reply, hopefully today.

I just went in and did the hat, usps was 7.07, ups ground was 8.88. I'm in the northeast so I wouldn't think it would cheap for my location. I think there is probably a little bit of a system problem with their site.
