Just got my order from Seyberts, and one of the items showed up damaged. I called them, and they are sending me a replacement now. They have the best prices I've found online, and their customer service is great. Highly recommended!
I try to spread the wealth around to the smaller merchants as well.

And
Nielsen's Billiards
http://stores.ebay.com/Nielsens-Billiards
Both have treated me extremely well in the past.
In no way am I knocking Seybert's Supply. They have been great to me in the past, and they are responsive in their service departments.
I'm asking for advice on this thread because I didn't want to start a new one, so if it appears I'm hijacking, that's not my intention. Just wanting to get some help from you guys since this Seyberts thing got started. So here goes:
Bought a set of joint protectors from them in April after buying a Poison Bolt elsewhere. The joint protector on the butt side ripped in half last week (they are rubber) and the threaded half is jammed in the bullet joint, and I mean jammed good, and flush with the face of the joint. And it's not budging.
I emailed them and they replied with "send a picture and we will replace the protectors". I also emailed Predator with pictures in case it covers their warranty and they said "ship the cue to us and we'll take a look".
Who pays for this defective joint protector and the cost of getting my cue fixed? Me?
This happened under normal operation, I went to take the cue out of the case, twisted the JP, and......rrrrippp! No more pressure than it took to unscrew the last 100 times I did it.
Anyone have any pointers before I send this thing off to predator and have them look?
Thanks all,
Dogs

Delaware:
If you will send the cue to either Predator or Seyberts to have this resolved and there is any cost involved just send the receipts to: Jerry@azbilliards.com. I will reimburse you in full. These are great companies, but since there are two of them involved there may be confusion as to whom is at fault. I do not care who is at fault. I will cover your expenses in this matter.
Best,
Jerry

I have spoken with many of you AZ members over the years and as you know I'm very passionate about billiards and honest.
The most important part of my business is the clients positive experience and that I have done enough to earn your business honestly.
Enough about me lets talk Seybert's.
You may find it odd that one retailer would have something good to say about another however, I would personally put my name and reputation behind a recommendation for Seybert's..
I have personally been to Seyberts in Coldwater, MI.
Been through their facility, met the team and had lunch with SId and Rick earlier this year.
Sid, Rick, Cary, Cory, David, Kyle and the rest of their team are truly great people and have your best interest in mind.
Before Manning Cues existed I purchased from Seybert's and a bunch of other retailers who didn't compare.
If you're looking for a billiard company that is not just there to take your order / money Seybert's is a Genuine option who won't disappoint you..
Shit this almost sounds like I'm in love with you guys... lol
In closing I would go on record saying that ManningCues.com business model and practices have been influenced by Seybert's.
In business it's key to know your competition and to see who's doing things right and who's not.
Seybert's has been rocking it for over 20+ years and I look forward to our continued friendship into the future.
Further I wanted to thank the members who have commented on this post in my honor.
I appreciate you sharing your experiences and hope to earn your continued support.. .
