Seyberts Billiards - Has anyone ever had any work done with them

I am looking at some sneaky pete cues on Seyberts Billiards and it offers the option to have the shaft cut down to your preference. I was checking to see if anyone knows the quality of their work and if anyone has had a shaft cut down before with them. I did not know they did repair work or offered custom work. Thanks

I've bought a few cues from them with no problems at all. But all they did is maybe put on a different tip and add weight to it. Actually, I pretty much buy from them before any other company. But I have no idea how they are with more extensive shaft work.

It's a production cue that you can purchase anytime. I would check around locally and see if you got any cue guys in a reasonable distance that can do it for you. Just buy the cue and have the work done yourself.

I've had them take down brand new shafts from stock to 12.5mm many times.

Yes, I’ve ordered a Players Sneaky Pete with a custom tapered down 12.5 shaft, and they did a great job. I’ve also had numerous shafts retipped by Seyberts, and they do an awesome job with fast turnaround times, at very reasonable prices.

I've had Seybert's customize shafts for me, change out different joints and install leather wraps. Every job they did for me was nothing short of excellent. I highly recommend them.

I've had them turn down three shafts, a cheap ($70) sneaky pete and two Lucasi shafts. They do excellent work.

I think KJ might be retired now.

I had them take down a stock shon shaft, no issues.

Side note, I also had them change the linen from black/white to white/black on the same cue - it was garbage. The material was junk and it got all hairy in a month. Brought it to Mike Gulyassy for a press and as soon as he started on it he said "this is going to last maybe a week".

Seyberts is actually the US repair center for predator. So there staff is very good at cue/repair work. They cut down the taper on the Z shafts for the s-tuned ones.
