Taking a poll here all the repairmen and cuemakers. Which shaft cleaner do you prefer? I have tried a lot of them on the market, Silkleen in the big bottle works good. Tried the unique shaft cleaner it's ok. Currently using Chris Hightowers I like it because you can spray it on. Any others you are having luck with or use regularly. I haven't tried the new atlas stuff or the Biranna products stuff yet. I use to use the schuler shaft cleaner atlas sold but they don't carry it anymore. Thanks

> The stuff Chris Hightower uses is good, along with the Q-Clean powdered stuff. In very small amounts on a really nasty shaft,Soft Scrub does nice. I like the results I get with the Magic Eraser though. Tommy D.

I've tried the soft scrubb and Magic eraser before and they are good for nasty nasty shafts but for regular cleaning I think Chris Hightower's is the best for the money. Just wanted to see if there were any secret new idears fltin around. how bout that slipstic you repair men like this stuff? Never tried it yet just ordered some on Friday I can't wait to try it

Have you ever tried Unique Products Shaft Cleaner. This is what I use, give it a try for $6.95. http://www.uniqueinc.com/maintenance_products

I have some It's ok but for really dirty shafts it dosen't cut it. i have heard ya can leave it on the shaft and use a blow dryer on it or something but never tried it. I like being able to spray the cleaner on seems like you don't waste as much that way. I love all unique products I use a cue companion in the pro shop like the sealer the polish and the wax but the cleaner smells too muck like pine sol or something. Just wanted to see what all the pros are usin these days:D

I took a cue in on trade at the DCC and it had a well used predator shaft...I used some of David Hodge's shaft cleaner with a Magic Eraser and it came out looking like new...
