Shaft Loosening problem?

I have a cue with a standard 5 16-14 joint pin like a Schon and its weird the shaft will loosen by itself after a few shots and noticed it the first time when I was chalking on a angle and the somehow maybe the vibration from chalking contributed to it loosening.Anyone have a clue why the shaft would loosen or the remedy to fix it.The joint is stainless steel.Thanks in advance for anyone's help.:)

Locktite ,,is actually adhesives..it makes a super glue but also makes thread adhesives. How ever I dont think you should use any but , it's used to keep threads from turning out and such for bolts in machines and motors and things. Some you need to add heat to take apart. Try some wax or something, Im sure a cuemaker or repairman can help you .

Something is wrong with that joint.
Get it looked at .
Superglue on brass insert is a band-aid to a bruise.
 
You could try cleaning the joint face on the cue and shaft, with alcohol. If that doesn't work, I suspect the joint will have to be re-faced (is that a word?.
 
This sounds like the joint isn't making full contact when you tighten the shaft to the butt of the cue. First get some alcohol and clean the joint on both sides including the joint pin. You could have some build up of dirt mixed in with wax that's keeping the joint from making full contact. A good clean straight joint should not loosen until you are ready to take it apart. If this doesn't work you'll need to have a cue repair man to reface your shaft contact area. You won't hurt a thing cleaning the joint with alcohol so give that a try first.
