I am looking at purchasing a predator shaft and the man said it was piloted and not flat faced not sure what that means, but the biggest question is will it fit a Schon. Thanks

I just took this pic for a customer. It will explain the difference clearly.

schon doesn't make flat face do they?

anyway,,,,,if the joint is stainless steel,,,it's piloted.

!!!!!

Varney is exactly right as long as it is 5x16x14 it will work. There are several different piloted joints.

They make a flat faced radial, but that's besides the point. If it isn't piloted, do you really think it won't match up with the schon? Like the others said. As long as it's 5/16-14, than it should be able to fit a schon regardless if it's piloted.
