Shaft Question

I'm just a little confused that's all. So what has the most to do with cueball action and spinning the ball without as much effort?
A fluid straight stroke.

Just get a predator Z shaft. Seems like that's exactly what your looking for. You will get lots of action on the cueball.

I like a smaller tip diameter so I'm having my shaft shaved down to 12mm. I want to be able to spin the ball a lot easier but I don't want the shaft to be too whippy. Although I'd prefer it to be more whippy than stiff. What taper and taper length do you recommend with a 12mm tip diameter?

Does someone have a router mounted parallel to the ground? :)

The "pro taper" is not the only thing that goes into cue ball action. The wood itself could be more flexible than another. The type of wood in the fore arm will have an effect also. Find a radial laminate and cut it just under 13mm with a gradual taper back 16 " flex spin spine.
