Shaft questions..im looking to upgrade from my G core shaft.

I've been shooting with my Mcdermott G Core shaft now for about a year now. When i purchased the shaft, my game instantly got better. I've been reading a lot of reviews and opinions about low deflection shafts. I've also noted the difference in construction from these shafts(i.e. Predator, Ob, I shaft).
I have no way in testing these different kinds of shafts, but thinking in theory, i think the construction and claims of what they can do, I'm leaning toward the Ob Classic.
I love the way my G Core feels when i shoot. That nice natural wood feeling. What i don't like is when I'm shooting a draw or english shot and i feel that wiggle. I've actually gotten somewhat used to the feeling... just feels like I'm losing power on my shot sometimes.
I'm wondering if i could have some feedback towards or against the Ob Classic. I have read a number of reviews about Predator and it seems people either love them, or hate them.
Any reviews on the Ob Classic or the I2 shaft??

You can't go wrong with an OB shaft, they are the best in the business.

I've played with the following shafts and I rank them in "MY PREFERENCE" to shoot with

#1 - OB-2
#2 - OB Classic Pro
#3 - Predator Z2
#4 - *custom shaft*
#5 - OB-1
#6 - Predator 314^2
#7 - Lucasi Hybrid

love my z2 over all others. Its all preference though. Mike massey swears by his z2 while john schimdt loves his ob. So its up to u.

Having played with Predator and OB products for the past 12 years, I've been really impressed with the feed back you get from the OB Classic and OB Classic Pro shafts.

Now, I've only hit with the G Core at shows, and was not overly impressed with the feel. The performance was good, but the feel just wasn't there for me.

I had the privilege to get an OB classic to test out before they were being sold.
I didn't want to shoot with anything else. The hit is fairly stiff, and the feed back is great. I've had them on a Phillippe and a Predator P2. Both have been great.

I truly can't speak highly enough of OB Cues and their products and support.
If you decide to make the investment, I really think you'll be very satisfied with both the product and the support you'll receive.

If you like a fairly stiff shaft, the OB Classic, in my opinion, is the best combination of feel, weight, taper, balance and performance of any 12.75 mm LD shaft. They are very solid.

There may be some shafts better at one particular thing, but it's the best overall combination I've found.

Don't go down this road. You will start blaming your equipment for your play and will only be able to get better for a short period of time after each purchase.

Yep, I went down that road for awhile. Buy new cue or shaft, play better for a week or so and then back to normal. Johnnyt
