Shaft template.

I have a template I had made to cut shafts. It has two templates, one is a schon and the other is somewhat like a predator. It is made out of aluminum and was cut using CNC (had a machine shop make it) I've never used it, my intention was to mount it on my metal lathe to cut shafts. But I have since stopped anything with cue making. And I'm going to start unloading stuff. Let me know if there is any interest.

Here's a picture. I have no idea what it is worth, I do know I paid around $350 or something for it. Was a fews years ago. It's be in the garage collecting dust as you can see...lol

That's for a taper shaper. At least it looks like it.

I don't know , Taper Shaper's slots for the hand knobs/fasteners are both milled wide slots, not holes.
Flipping it might help.
Joint end to the left, cutter is outside of the shaft.

I seriously doubt that is for a Taper Shaper. That thing is almost 4 foot long. Looks like it was made for a metal lathe.

You are right. I was looking at the tiny pic from my iPhone.

It isn't for any specific lathe. Another Cuemaker gave me the autocad drawing, and I had it machined at a local shop here. I planned on disengaging the slide, adding a spring and use my metal lathe to cut shafts. I have no idea what this thing is worth - or if it's useful to anyone. I think it maybe unique because it has two different shaft templates. At least I thought that was cool.

It appears to be well made. Hopefully you can find someone local, as shipping across any borders might be cost prohibitive. Is that 1 inch plate? I imagine it weighs about 20lbs?

Nah, I work in the states. So I can drive it across and ship anywhere. :)

Taper bar

This bar is very similar set-up to a Porper bar....just a little shorter. The Porper lathe bearing attachment rides inside the slot....it works perfectly and I know because I designed it. If anyone needs pics on how to mount it then please email me at mike@customcuemaker.com.
