Shaft Turning Device

Looking for an inexpensive shaft lathe. Several months ago there was a thread showing how to make one, would like to fing something to recondition my shafts.

Anything out there?????

Whats a reconditioning cost these days??? $10-$20 at best.....you'll spend a lot more then that on a lathe....unless you own several cues, I suggest you just support you're local poolhall and cuemaker.

Get a crutch tip. Drill a hole in the end. Put a bolt through the hole with a washer on both sides and a nut on the outside. Insert the bolt into variable speed hand drill with a switch to lock it in the on position. Bingo. I then used a bunjee cord to attach the drill to a piece of board.
