I thought Earl's best moment in that match was when he got down on a shot and the nearest Russian player tried to shark him with a funny colored towel. He stopped, looked at the player and then complained to Michaela, who saw it and also and extended his time. The player was trying everything to set Earl off, but Earl kept his composure. The most disappointing aspect about the incident was how Wyche didn't even acknowledge it in commentary. If it were Earl, the camera would quickly fix on him and the commentary would center towards his behavior. Pool tries to get away from these activities, but when you see it on tv and no one comments about it being wrong, it just perpetuates the behavior. And when the rule of fair game isn't taken seriously, it relegates pool to a game status rather than a true sport.Hmmm, I watched the russia match and shane was leaving him terrible and he bailed out the team with great shots. His break was no good though and cost them a few games.
