Look at what Shane used when he was very young.i remember the old schon cue he had, Solid shaft nothing fancy:)
it comes down to what you like. And someone telling you, buy this cue and you will play better with this shaft or that!! In the end it does not matter.

I found the old thread, where his mum is asking, for the value of his previous cues.before he went over to cuetec. A lot of vintage to old production cues.

Maybe - if that gives him confidence. I think that's as valid as playing better with a cue that feels better to you. It's the Indian/arrow fit.

More power to him I suppose, but someone who is only interested in playing with what Shane plays with is not a player in tune with their own game, preferences, capabilities and what suits their stroke.

This feels like a “greatest hits” thread where we all get to rehash well worn opinions one more time.

I look at it as the OP asked a question and either I know the answer or I don’t. Not all that interested in why. But I do get that any topic is an opportunity for discussion. It just seems funny that some discussions seem to never get tiring for people. To me the “Indian/Arrow” cliche has grown so tiresome that it’s not worth weighing into anymore. If I may be extra jaded because I certainly see it a ton on Pool Is Not Dead.
