How is the South Dakota Kid playing? Did anyone here get a chance to see some of his matches? Our very own Louie Ulrich is red hot right now too, it would be a great match if these two met late in the tournament IMO.

I started out a round or two ago with a guesstimate that Shane has a 12% chance to win the Open on another forum.

I am now raising that prediction to 20% chance. I think he will ride that wave just as far as he possibly can, and so far, he's looking pretty good.

This may be off note but Shane and I grew up playing in the same town haha. Played him in 9 Ball tournies every Wednesday at the Marble Club in RC.

Well ...

It's pretty obvious now that Shane has at least a 33% chance of winning, but I am raising my prediction from 20% to a 70% chance of winning because the tide is with him, and his shellacking of Alcano.
