Shanes shooting?

Is it my imagination or was Shane shooting better pool before he went to that long cue he now uses. Seems to me he was.
 
actually I would say he is even better since the long cue... He is one of 2 players I can think of that has averaged over .900 on the TV table when Accu-Stats has been onsite at least over the 7 years I have been with them doing replays and scoring.. The other one is Lee Vann..... Shane's 3 peat at the open was with the long cue...
 
I want that kind of game slipping in my game, where everybody I draw gets sent to the B side of the chart.
 
At the recent exhibition at Billiards at Ballpark Village this past Wednesday, he did not have the extension on his cue and it was normal length. Will be interesting to see if he plays that way on Monday in Vegas.

He did however have the cue taped up like earl does his cues
 
Shane played without an extension at the All Japan Championship last month.

To Renfro and the rest of you, thanks for the info. It is probable my old age making me less observant then I should be! LOL
 
I think his bar table shooting has suffered greatly since he started using the extension. 9 ft table seams like an improvement.
 
Don't forget the 6 years or so before I actually made the account... I love reading everything on here just never wanted to post due to seeing people getting shamed for posts all the time. This subject popped out because I have been noticing this about Shane the last few USBTC's, and his poor performance.
