Shannelle Lorraine on Spike

In defense of Shanelle, I think she was very professional. Her commentary was smooth she appeared very comfortable in the spots and overall I thought she did a great job. Of course she was there to show the younger crowd that some very attractive women are involved in pool and she did just that. Undoubtedly she was told how to dress and all that but I think she was confident and professional.
Good for pool!
Dan

I saw the spit shot segment. She was poised and articulate. I found her title "International Pool Star" to be a little Austin Powers, but what else are they going to call her? Hot Pool Chick? It's not like they had her in a wet T shirt

man they sure do dumb down pool when they present it to the masses. I enjoyed "looking" at her, but the pool info was horrible. Notice that she didn't pocket alot of balls, other than the 2 trick shots. Guess there ain't enough cgi in the world to make her a believable pool player.

I am not knocking Shanelle, I just think Marissa is hot. Any time Pool is on TV is good, I am glad for Shanelle.

Funny

her only chance of making a ball drop is if some 13 yr old boy watches spike tv tonight.[/QUOTE]

I thought she did a great job. Shanelle is articulate and relaxed in front of the camera. She seems more comfortable then the majority of the announcers during televised WPBA events and did absolutely nothing wrong while promoting a positive image of the game. I don?t know why there is a need to bash her.

I had the privilege of playing doubles with Shanelle last year and she was a very classy young lady. She works a full time job which limits her practice time but continues to improve. While she is hot, she is doing her best to juggle (no comment needed) her pool, job, promotions and personal relationships and maybe we should respect her accomplishments instead of ragging on her pool. She was a great partner and I had a lot of fun; my wife even liked her!!!!!! Shanelle, keep working hard and take what life offers you and perform at your best. I hope someone taped the show as I would love to see. Dragon Promotions was smart to put a quality person on their team.
