Shark Grey Simonis

The grey is OK, and is easy on the eyes, at least, on television. I'd have to see it in person, to know if I really like it, though.

The blue looks good on television, but it almost seems a little too bright (for me), when I actually play on it. Because of that, I put the tournament green, on my table. Plus, I'm a bit of a traditionalist.

The weird colored balls, on the other hand, are terrible. Don't see any reason to change those.

Here in the US maybe but not globally. Go anywhere else in the world and all you see is big tables.
Wrong answer, I've lived in Germany and Italy both, and you're 100% wrong. Even Moscow Russia has quite a few Diamond 7fts. Global billiards has sold many containers of bar tables to Afghanistan. And I know a table manufacturer in South Africa that has produced over 40K coin operated pool tables in their region of the world.

So you think getting rid of all the tables smaller than 9fts would help pool, or hurt it?
no, that statement was a bit extreme. 1 9ft table for every 25 bar tables when there are like 50 or 60 bar tables seems like a bad ratio when you have people lining up at the poolhall to play on the 2 9ft that are available.

How many players do you think are playing on those 50-60 bar tables?

there are enough people willing to play on the 9 foot tables. like i said there are usually several people waiting before the doors even open

Then I suggest you talk one of the bars close to you into having a 9ft installed, then you have somewhere close to home to play.

I've only seen 1 7' in person. Around here most pool halls were 9ft some were 8ft and the coin op bar tables were 8ft

where do live lmao ... all we have are APA players running around hugging each other and shit and happy to hit the break shot on a 7ft table lol

All that is in control of the owners/managers of the pool halls, whatever places they are in. One of my regular places has 10 9 footers at a pretty cheap $5 an hour per person rate, and I think 3 7 footers, there are very distinct groups of players that go to each side of the room, removing one set or the other will cause issues with some group. One just expects to play using quarters on a small table, the other group wants the full size tables for tournaments and general play.
