Shattered

Thursday night I picked up a bar cue and broke with it, the thing shattered and split a couple of inches from the ferrel, the cork plug on the butt flew down past the foot end of the table. Friday night I was at the same bar and picked up a different bar cue to break with, the thing shattered about 2 inches from the ferrel and completely separated with the tip rolling under the left side cushion. I can't remember the last time I shattered a bar cue on the break and now it happened on back to back nights. Needless to say the bartender is looking at me a little funny but I didn't abuse these cues so we're cool. Just thought it to be a little funny.

Been working out with Barry Bonds?

I broke an 8 ball rack one night and a big chunk of the cue ball flew off and clipped a guy standing nearby.

Of course the ball had to be cracked before I hit it, but as he was staring at me, I just shook my head like " not this again"
