Is it genuine?

The real question is, is it authentic? How many Helmstetter knockoffs are out there right now? I know of at least ten in the room I go to regularly!

You mean like this one? It is a present day Palmer. In all fairness, in the pictures in the listing however, you can see the Helmstetter logo on the forearm. I think there is also the Roman numeral XVII on the butt cap. You can also see the wood around the brass pilot. The pictures appear to be of a Helmstetter. Shill Bidding? Probably!!!

the XVII is a model number that one of the large cue wholesellers use.. you will find that on alot of lucasi cues.. i forget which company does that.. cue stix maybe? or maybe cue and case.. i forget which one.. that cue was probably made in the same factory.. as the lucasi stuff..

There is a 97-9 model in the 3rd bluebook. It looks to be the same design but with the double silver trim rings like the cue in the listing.
The cue in the listing does appear to have Helmstetter on the forearm.

I've reported obvious cases of shill bidding to E-Bay in the past. I was the winner in one particular case. They investigated and cancelled the accounts in question.

Shill bidding is stealing, plain and simple.

By the way guys I do have a gray stained version with this same slotted diamond inlay and railroad veneer butt sleeve design in stock. I want $100 shipped anywhere USA to the first AZer that steps up. It's a no logo Present day Palmer import. It looks more yellow in the picture the veneers are black, yellow, and lime green. It's a 19oz. there is a weight bolt. Brand New, with very nice shaft. Please PM if interested.

jbrech bid 77.27 but it originally showed up as .99 because that what I started it at.

kaylabrooke comes along and bids 1.00 2.50 5.00 etc

ebay automatically raises jbrech's bid for him each time but doesn't show his bid until he's been outbid.

jbrech had the auction won with 15.00 until cmroberts bid 100.01

THEN jbrech's bid of 77.27 shows up even though he mad the bid 6 hours earlier.

Automatic bids ARE NOT listed.
