this is NOT 10 ball, part of the game is the break. What is up with this?
The added money is simply plowing the greens fee back into the event.
Will any money be peeled from the auction? If so, let me run it......

No mark, No money is peeled from the auction what is that comment about, and fyi he would make money @ 75cents a game with 64 players (over the top of added money), and therefore cost players more money to participate (which the owner doesnt want to do!). 9 on the break is a slop shot unless you manipulate the rack(cheat) that IS whats up with that. When we play at your house we will play by your rules!
We just want a person to have to shoot at least two shots every game.
Hey mark, dust your cue off and come down. You can still ride the 9 after the break and crap it in that still counts!

mark

btw how many tourneys out there of 1000 + added based on 64 do not "plow the green fee back into the tournaments"?
do some research!
this will be a good tourney, nice bar, good food, and there will be some action.
there are some locals that like to match up, no monster sets or anything but there will be some action(bar table).

Dont have too

I was running $500 added tournaments in the 80's we did that, I have been to a LOT of tournaments these days where money is peeled from the calcutta, which is horsecrap. Send me a PM and I will tell you a couple so you can count the funds then see what the pay outs are.

I probably will stake a couple guys in this event, but will not be able to make it due to family obligations. Good luck with the event.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

well we dont "peel" nuttin send em on down with your money:eek:

Sounds like a great tournament but I'm wondering why the mudball? I assume the tables will be open due to green fee, so a regular cueball would work. I only ask because I'm interested in attending.
Thanks

I believe the owner has valley cougar cue balls on the tables and that is what he and the local players are used to. He would like to start having this tourney monthly. Without posting here he has had 30 to 40 players minumum each time he has had a tourney there. It has always been fun.

Man... we have a 3-Man Tourney that day for our League players!!!

I'm sure this is going to be a good event- Shooters is a pretty cool place to shoot, lots of action for all levels, I believe they use the Valley Super Aramith (green S) cue balls, GREAT FOOD (get the pizza), quality players across the board!!

They have always had quality tournaments, good calcuttas and are always fair with the fees!

Best of luck down there!

Would anyone know if the valley cue balls are the same as the cue balls at Brickyard billiards in Indianapolis. I played in one of Mac Ashbys tournaments a while back and the bar boxes had cue balls with a small green logo on them. They weren't to hard to get used to. When I heard mudball I pictured the oversized cue ball that always had to be played with follow (I absolutely could not draw those things). Thanks and hope to see you there.
