short cue stick holder

Unfortunately I will be needing a short stick.
it doesnt fit in the standard cue rack I have.
I was wondering what creative alternatives some of you may have come up with?

How short is "short"? Can you post a picture of the type of cue rack you have so we can make suggestions?

starndard cheapo 2pc rack. bottom piece and top piece with plastic clips.

I can just buy another single clip and attach it to the wall in a lower location.

But I was wondering if anyone had a more unique solution.

I found this and ting I can make a hole in it and mount to the wall.

I’ve got this one from Wayfair and it’s looks and performs well but I wouldn’t say it’s unique. I’ve got a jump cue in one the holders.

Couple good ideas already. You could mount one of these to a piece of similar wood inside your existing rack but lower. This would be very inexpensive.
