Short Notice! Danny DiLiberto in Cincinnati offering lessons!

[cuesmith]

This was a last minute detour Danny took to visit me on his way back home. If anyone would like to get a lesson from a great Hall Of Famer, there's a small window of opportunity here. He'll be here through Saturday. If anyone wants to set something up or discuss it with Danny, they can call my cell number (513)578-8631, email me with Danny DiLiberto in the subject line to sherm@shermcue.com, or PM me here at AZ and we'll get you hooked up. He's very good at all diciplines but he's known as the teacher who helped Stephen Cohen win the World Straight Pool Championship, where Stephen ran to the Accu-Stats Booth where Danny was doing the commentary and praised Danny for the knowlege he passed on to him saying he couldn't have done it without his help. He's also known as one of the best teachers of the game of One Pocket out there. He has top pros who take one-pocket lessons from him regularly. Don't miss your chance. We don't know when he'll be able to make it back to Cincinnati for lessons.

Bump for Danny and will start a separate thread later but Cue smith told the story of Danny so well I thought I'd just jump on his thread for a bit.

Spoke to Danny yesterday. He will be coming up to Chicago. Date not set in stone yet but aiming for the week of the May 17th or May 24th.

Lessons in one pocket, straight pool or whatever for a very reasonable $50 per hour. Student pays the table time or he gives the lesson on your table if convenient.

Contact me at gwtlaw@aol.com if interested.

Just spoke to Danny on the phone. He's not sure on the dates yet, I'll post them when they're concrete, the details are being worked out but were looking at somewhere in the last couple of weeks this months. He'll be coming here after his visits in Indianapolis and Chicago. If you're interested in some valuable and extremely enjoyable lessons from one of the all time greats in our sport, email me sherm@shermcue.com or send me an AZB PM and in both cases put Danny DiLiberto Lessons in the subject line. I'll try to help you get hooked up.

There are a lot of great instructors out there, but there's none like Danny. His prices are IMHO too cheap for a recognized "Hall Of Famer" with credentials like Danny has. He charges a reasonable $50 an hour + any table time or other expenses and that's about a dollar for each year of experience he has to share with you, not to mention the stories he works into the lessons. Danny has won titles in each of four consecutive decades, beating Efren 11-1 playing nine-ball (tournament) and spotting him a ball in one-pocket and beating him for the cash! I could go on for pages and pages about Danny's accomplishments and character, but I don't want to spoil it for you lucky guys who benefit from his lessons. Treat yourself to an experience you'll never forget, before it's too late. I don't want to sound macaber but Danny's 75 years old and while he could probably still whip 8 out of 10, 21 year olds from his boxing experience, he's not going to live forever. And honestly he needs the money! His social security check goes to his daughter in Florida and Danny is living in Buffalo NY on what he can make giving lessons and doing pool match commentary for Accu-Stats. Help one of our legends eek out a small living doing what he does best. You can come away with the new knowlege and know that you helped out a really great guy at the same time.
