Has anyone ever tried a short shaft (about 16"...maybe up to 20") with a longer blended into the shaft butt. They have had 28-30" shafts for 75 years or more. I'm sure they didn't take into account swerve, squirt, deflection back then. Johnnyt
In Mosconi's book on Pocket Billiards first published in 1948 he describes the "curve of the cue ball" that happens when hitting the cueball with right or left English.
They did not use the same vocabulary back then, but they knew what existed.
