At the risk of being banned I will not say anything right now. :)

Anyway what you can do is scatter all 15 balls on the table and make them in any order except for the 15 ball, make that one last. When you get better with this drill, start playing rotation pool. For example, Make 15 last, than 15 and 14, than 15,14,13 ex....:D
Hope this helps

practice a straight shot. After you've hit it perfect a few times, move the cue ball further away, until it is the full distance of the table. I used this drill a while ago when I was having a bit of trouble with my game, and it builds my confidence shooting the short straight ones then moving on gently. Also after you have done this, remember: line up the angle of the shot before you get down to play. Then, all you have to do is stroke it like your stroking a straight shot.

You need to find out why you are missing. Some common reasons are: a crooked or unpredictable stroke, jumping up before the shot is completed, incorrect aiming, shot steering (twisting the stroke to "help" the ball in), and loss of focus (letting your gaze drift from the OB). Once you have identified a problem AZ billiards can probably be of more assistance.

What is the level of your past performance? What are your expectations? Do you have access to a decent player who can help you work this out?

I imagine you will get suggestions that you see an instructor, and I think that's a very good idea if you can afford the time and money. Good luck!

First and foremost you need to know a couple things, how is your eye sight? and whitch eye is your dominate eye? Right handed? Left Handed? How long have you been playing? Knowing this, I will give you a drill..

a basic excercise being as you've told us nothing specific about your problems, is to just try and make all 15 balls on the table in any order without missing. pretty easy, but the idea is to do it a few times just to build your confidence up. you may well be missing because you are not fully warmed up, in stroke, nervous, etc etc.

what's your ability level?

relax and just hit some balls man.

There are only two basic reasons to miss a shot. You either aimed at the wrong place, or a flaw in your stroke prevented the cue ball from going where you were aiming. You have to identify the problem before you can find the solution.

Find a good instructor to help you.

To practice corner shots with the ob in the center of the table, I line up balls 1-9 in the center of the table, lengthwise, one diamond apart, in random order. I pocket them in nine-ball order, starting one time from the left, next time from the right. I usually start off with some straight shot drills, making shots of various lengths diagonally across the table, and along the long rail. Of course, you can't just bang away at the balls - that serves no purpose. You have to visualize the intended path, the contact point, and stay down on the shot long enough to see exactly what happens when cb hits ob.

experiment with this: just before striking the cb and instead of shifting focus to the ob, leave your focus on the cb,and concentrate on hitting the exact middle. If you can consistently strike whitey in the middle you'll have a big problem solved.
