Sure it already has one, but only on how to use the site, not for common questions and terms like "deflection", "what is the best joint", "pin sizes", etc. Of course, there are other sites with information about these things, and tons of posts here and elsewhere, but wouldn't it be nice to have a central one here, instead of having to jump all over the place?

It may help, but I would only want it if it added another sticky to take up more space that I always ignore.

No......that's what web pages are for. This is a forum, a forum for discussion.

I get tired of people posting "do a search". You can search the internet and find just about any information you want, but a forum is for discussion. Specific conversations can lead to and discover new information. To those that are so bothered by posters asking topics that have been covered before, I say this..."close your window, you don't have to read this."

...and it is very rude to new members. BTW

I voted no for these very reasons.

HOW TO FIND previously posted information.

Since they already have a FAQ, I think there should be another Sticky named, HOW TO FIND "specific" posts, threads and subject matters!

The forum has become a voluminous resource of information if you know how to access it. Unfortunately, most of us do not know how to get the most out of the Search Features.

The Advanced Search feature is powerful if you know it is there and if you know how to use it.
