Should I go for this Predator Air Jump cue?

Someone here is selling a used one for 70 euros(92.9 $).
Is that a good deal?

I know these aren't in production anymore, but how much was their retailers price?
And how much do they usually cost now?

And are they good? If possible, can someone compare it to Poison VX Jmp Striker?

PS: The joints I got for my Poison jump are Predator Air joints.

I don't like the Air Jump myself. I just use a $30 J&J jump cue which works fine for me.

Dealers used to pay around $90 for the Air Jump and retail was around $120. The last one I sold went for $225 on Ebay. Wow...if I only had know.:sorry:

I can jump quite well with most jump cues, but I sold my predator Air cause I could not jump very good with it at all. I did not like it at all.

My two cents....

The poison jump shaft on the predator Air butt jumps and feels better than the original air shaft. I got the idea after seeing Darren Appleton using this combo at the last Mosconi cup and he did quite well with it.

IMHO... I think the Predator Air Jump is the Cadillac of Jump Cues.

Everyone has different tastes, that's why they make chocolate & vanilla.

Some cues are made to be used & some cues are made to SELL. You job is to find the cue that works for you. Surely you have cues at your Pool Room in other player's bags... ask them for a try out.

It is a very fair deal.

That being said, I had one and sold it. IMO there are much better jump cues on the market.

Hmm, sounds interesting...
Will try the combo when I try out the cue.

I agree there.

Well, of course, before buying I'll try it. If it suits me then why not...

According to your signature, you already have two jump cues, the Predator one won't do any better. Although $100 is a pretty good price for one, unless you are buying to resell then you'd want to get it down to $80 and you can make a bit of profit on ebay. Predator sells well.

I feel the exact same way. I had a Predator Air and hated it.

Predator has redesigned the Predator Air jump cue and is coming out with a new version I believe.

Nope, not thinking about reselling.
If I like - I get it, no thinking there =P...

Do you know how much they sell them these days?
On EBay I saw one but it was really expensive.

I have to agree, the air jumper kind of sucks. I keep mine, but almost never use it.

I haven't tried enough jump sticks to truly compare but I use an Air Jump and have no problem jumping over balls with it (aiming is a different story). I bought it after a local tourney player jumped over 4 or 5 safes in a row on me, making each ball and getting position. After the match I asked what his jump cue was then bought one.

Of course I still can't jump like he did that day -- and here is the obligatory, it's the Indian not the arrow comment.

Compared to the new air jump 2 the old model is fit for kindling.... The original got the ball up fast but there was very little control unless you were practicing with it all the time... Predator revamped and I have to say imho the Air Jump 2 may be as good as you will find on the market by a production manufacturer...... I watched some of the pros at Tunica trying full table jumps while trying to draw the cueball back to them and scratch..... it was pretty wicked......

Hmm, Air Jump 2..?
I doubt that's out yet?

I like Jester, you can masse jump, draw jump, long and close jumps, etc...

That said no matter what jump cue you get you definitly need the time at them table or it wont work well.
