Show me your Runde Cue

Thinking of ordering one . Would like to get some ideas of what he is capable of . Thanks

I've owned a number of Bob Runde's cues over the years and I liked everyone of them. I recently had to part with one that I liked a lot and it's pictured in this thread (ebony on ebony with an ivory joint), but it was part of a trade deal that I had to make. I currently own an 8 point Runde that shows some ideas of what Bob can do and I think Dick Abbott created this picture and if he did i'd like to thank him for the picture. The cue currently has an elephant ear wrap instead of the linen wrap in this picture and it plays and feels jam up.......

Here is one I owned and wish I'd never sold. :(

Scott

That's the one that got me hooked on Runde cues to begin with.

Scott mailed this cue to me...just to try it out. (he's a nice dude!! :) ) I loved it...and wished I had bought it when he offered it to me.

I've owned 3 since then...and they were all exceptional.

Loving the rings in that cue . I'm beginning to think Rundes are under appreciated

I couldn't agree with you more about Rundes being under appreciated. The fact that Bob Runde was a partner in Schon cues has hurt his cues values for collectors of custom cues. Bob's designs and workmanship are top notch in my opinion and his cues play excellent.

I thought about buying it myself when it was for sale, but the timing wasn't right and i'm sorry I didn't buy the cue also.

Daniel....Nice Runde

Your cue looks like a dead ringer for a Runde cue that sold within the last several weeks on Cornerstone Cues with the exception the Cornerstone Runde cue had a gray speck linen wrap. The prongs on the cue sold by Cornestone were the identical wood as your cue which I'd never seen in a cue forearm up until then. ...........Cudos on your Runde Cue.
