Show me your Tad Kohara cues...please.

The above cue is my best Tad, its a ivory Tad, well mostly ivory, its hard to see it in the pictures but there are little tiny stars at the tip of the centere point in the small points(did I say that right???), this cue needs to be shot with a good camera-not a iPhone, that little star is the smallest inly I have ever seen in any cue.

I dont bust out with pics often but when I do I like to make up for all the pics I dont post with something nice. This cue is NOT for sale, like all the rest, is that bad???

my best to everyone, I hope everyone is doing better than me, seriously-this economy is really starting to piss me off, in other news my back is slightly better, and i'm on the improve, still not good but not crippled up like I was.

ok i'm done its 3 am and i'm rambling again,

good nite.

none of my cues are for sale. things will never be that bad, i'm deeper than that.

Interested in seeing the TAD cues that aren't his signature style.

if you ask real nice I can help you with that, ;)

i have 2 Tads that dont look like Tads, I have no idea how old they are, I have played with one of them for a few sessions and its a fantastic cue. I will dig them out and get pics, they will be my last tad pics, as the rest of my tads look about like everything else here.

for good measure I will also bust out the Tad pole Tad I have its real old, I would guess its among the first Tad Poles.

And I would gladly express how excited and humbled we are to have the honor bestowed upon us of being able to see these rare and super vintage TAD's! Please, please, please! :D

thanks for reminding me, i might have time tonite, i went to bed real earily last nite. And I forgot, too. sorry. i only have a iPhone so the pics wont be great, but the cues wont disapoint. they arnt expensive compaired to alot of these but 2 of the 3 I have dont even look like Tads, they are 100% for sure but they dont look to be. One Plays real real good, the shaft wood on all 3 (6 shafts) is fantastic. They are all real thin butt cues, more so than the newer Tads I will measure them and the ivory one in the pics above to show the difference, I'm not big on posting pics of my cues but these are very special cues that Tad lovers should see, so I will.

Here is one of them, the rings above the wrap remind me a lot more of a Bushka than a Tad and overall a great looking cue.

I must leave now and will post more pics if Eric sends me more, when I get back!

Hold on until then! :)

That's a beautiful cue! Thanks for sharing! I really like the classis elements that it has!

This is a very traditional looking cue from its era, Gina, Bushka's etc kinda looked like this back then too. I think this is earily 70's perhaps late 60's, It would be monster $$$ if it was a Bushka, can you imagine??? It is every bit the quality of any Bushka I own, thats not pushing it either,,,,, its that good.

The butt is very very thin compaired to a Bushka and very thin compaired to most other cues. I will measure it and post that later. The cue plays great and is perfectly straight, all the inlays are straight. most of my newer Tads dont have the quality of this cue, Tad put alot more work into the older cues with out a doubt. Sorry the pics arent great.

there are more to come,
not alot more but some,

I'm kinda shy about showing off cues, I know I dod put up some pics with a lot of BIG cues up here a while back, that was to etablish the fact that i'm a cue guy. Since I'm known as a cuje guy, I dont show off. I share on ocassion.

I do have one cue that Jeff W. has great pics of, I dont know where I stored them that I would like to post some day, or have a friend reshoot, cause a iPhone isnt good enough.

i'd love to help ya out eric, BUT . . .
lost all my old pics when my laptop went swimming, and had problems with the replacement.

just ship all your cues over, and i'll get ya some pics back :woot:

Here is another Tad of Eric, I think that it is pretty unique, looks like a Titlist forearm to me with straight grain maple and this is what Eric said as well. I am sure he will tell us more when he has time to.

Wow, that sure is a very unique old school TAD and a Titlist to boot! Very nice! Thank you so much for sharing with us! Definitely looking forward to seeing more!!!

it looks like a titlest forarm to me too, i'm not 100% sure of that, but I think it is, I have played with this Tad more than any of the other "Old" ones I have, It has a super thin butt, almost too thin. It is the best hitting Tad of the old ones I own and perhaps hits as good as my "Player" Tad, I never compaired them-I might someday, I really like this cue, the pics suck I couldnt get the light right so the wrap is all washed out and looks white, etc. The shaft wood is great, this cue was used as someones player for a while, I dont know if it was refinished, I cant remember right now.
