Previous owner ran pipe above the insulation in the loft in the garage that I didn’t know about. He must have gotten lucky.

Dried with shop vac, then with a fan. Left some dirty water stains in the cloth after drying. Used 50/50 mix of vinegar and club soda, soft toothbrush, and blotting with a cloth… tip from the installer. Worked like a charm, stains gone after two applications. No damage other than the broken pipe that’ll fix this summer.

This post has been a little surprising because less a dozen replies are posted with a photo. I thought there woud be more. Does anyone have an estimate as to how many carom tables are in homes in the United States ? Are carom tables too large for homes.

There are probably only 10-20 thousand active players of billiards of any form in the United States, compared to 30-50 million regular pool players. My best guess is that only 5 to 10% of those players have a table at home.

So I would bet there are no more than around 1000 10' residential carom tables in this country.

If 1% of those 1000 table owners participates on AZ Billiards, then there is your less-than-dozen.

It is just a game that almost nobody knows exists here. I haven't met a single person who isn't a serious pool player that has even heard of a pocketless table.
