Your are correct Mr. Zippel, But my new room is almost complete and a new photo will soon follow. I move in Oct 24 and my table will be set up and ready to go on the 26th. See you soon brother :)

Beautiful table and setup. Not a huge fan of the cloth color but I can see why it was chosen in its environment. Very nice, coalcracker.

I thought about that color for my pool table., non traditional for sure but seems like for actual playability it would make the balls very easy to see. Went with tournament blue, which is good, but I still have to say there is nothing like a pool table with green cloth on it!

You betcha ... it's the Color of Money!!!

Thanks for the compliments. My wife bought the table for me last Christmas. I wanted to get a 9' GC3, but she said that would not look quite right in the room. She found this Montebello in Livingston, NJ, and had it shipped to me. There was no way she was moving the chandelier either. It was in a New Orleans hotel in 1903, and we got it from an antique dealer when we built the house in 2001. Hey, believe me, I'd have a hard time arguing the point with her so I didn't even try.

The room looks great, my table is in an old 1800s house basement that right now looks so bad I don't even want to post a picture of the room LOL.

You have nothing to complain about.

And even the cloth color is OK for playing on, there was a pro that said during some commentary he did that he thought the tan color used in the old Camel tour was pretty good to play on.

Some might say that my pool room lacks a little in decor..............until you realize that I was after a Turkish Prison motif. Not to break my arm patting myself on the back but I think I nailed it.
Actually we had more important things to do than decor after the GCII arrived.
First was to have Josh at Club Billiards modify the rails for Artemis cushions and knock the pockets down to 4 1/2" ( they are actually a little tighter, there's more pics in my profile if anyone wants to look), then Simonis 860 cloth, a new set of Centennials and Aramith tournaments also, a Delta 13 Elite, you can see the matching Brunswick light, Brunswick black imitation leather cover and to keep my balls clean we just had a new Diamond ball polisher delivered last week. We also have that cool floor standing Brunswick double sided cue rack that I got with the table, it had an original Titlist in the rack along with all the Brunswick 1 piece cues, at first I told the guy I bought the table from to throw that stuff away, my wife corrected my mistake on the way home though, thank heavens she saved my butt yet again. We still want to get a couple of billiard chairs, but I am hoping this would qualify as a "players room" now so we can start with the decorating. Are we close finally or are we missing something yet?
