The leather wrap was not made by Joey. This cue was ordered without wrap as I was trying to learn leather wrapping. Since then the cue was changed to a linen wrap and it look much better than the photo posted.

Many cues come and go in my collection but this cue still remain cos it really play well.

Will update with new pics.

Wow!!! I love the color of the curly! Not too light or dark. Just perfect (for my taste anyway)! The whole cue would be great in this curly with one of Joey's nice rings between the forearm and handle. With a elk horn butt cap and rings!

Although I started this thread about JoeyInCali Cue examples, I don't have one, but I really want one some day!

I thought I would take the opportunity to show my Zylr cue. It is a total beauty and plays so nice. I love it but I still would like someday to get his understudie's cue! Dreaming! Ha! :smile:

I've made a few cousins to that one.

Here's a Davis Full-splice bank that will be soon delivered.
Sambar stag collar and brass 3/8 11 pin. Shafts have micarta ferrules.
It is the first and most likely the last Davis full-splice I'll do.
Buttsleeve is ebony with a white Hoppe ring.

It's late here. I just polished two more cues and will be putting the leather wrap on them this Memorial Day.
