I just wanted to share some pics of my new Paul Sumrall cue.
It was made to my specs, and Paul did a great job. Awesome
guy to deal with, and the wait was not long at all. The hit is
really nice. The balance is a bit forward just how I like it. 6 pts.
3 high and 3 low. I want to thank Paul for making our transaction
very smooth and easy. Let met know what you guys think. I think
Paul would want to know too. Thanks for looking.

Very nice S & S cue Dom
That exactly what you like
Let us know how it plays, especially with the OB-1

Thanks Ted, yes I played with both shafts, and I prefer the
OB-1, but thats what I was using on my Mottey too. Thats
what I'm used to. I believe I would have no problem using
the S & S shaft. It has an Ivory ferrule and a Sniper tip, but
I'm not just up for the learning curve right now.

I was just curious about the hit of the OB-1 vs the S & S shaft which is probably like other good quality shafts with an ivory ferrule.

Is the OB-1 that much different?

Does the combination feel the same as it did with your Mottey?

The hit is somewhat similar between the two shafts. The OB-1 has less
deflection, so it takes a bit of getting used to and vice versa. Now as for
the OB-1 on the Mottey, and the OB-1 on the S & S, they feel really close.
Not much difference at all.
