I ordered a cue just like this from Bob back in 2003, I think it was. Mine was cocobolo instead of ebony but it was a great player, you cant beat these cues for the price and quality.

Yes it is a hell of a playing cue a solid all around cue that can do it all. I cant say enough about it. I own another plain Shurtz and it plays well but not as well as this one. Sounds like youve had a similar experience with Shurtz cues.
