Sigel - Jones Challenge Match (Jones wins one set?)

I'm lettin' it ride on one of the finest women to ever hold a pool cue.
 
I had to go read the rules of this match to make sure I wasn't making a bad bet.
I loved watching Loree-Jon play but I don't think she has a prayer of beating Mike Sigel in any race to 9.

JMO but I wouldn't mind losing the bet either. I think it would be nice to see LJ win at least one.

this being a made-for-tv match, lj should win 1 set strictly for the entertainment value.
 
I am betting on the TV laydown myself...he will scold her at nine ball though.

Nine ball? I thought they were to play eight ball. I think LJJ will be more competition than many think.(ummm I hope)

I thought this would be a v-bookie event for whether this match will actually happen or not!
 
If they truly play straight up, with no TV shenanigans, I don't see where Lori Jon has a chance. Don't get me wrong . . . she was (is) a wonderful player. But Sigel is in my top 3 all-timers of people I saw play. I say "no contest".
 
Mike Sigel is probably a nice guy but there is no way she ( Lori Jon) could take a set from him not even if he shot with a half of a cue maybe but just maybe Allison Fisher could possibly take a set but still unrealistic there also.

if it were a winner take all! no problem , but it's more like an exebition match then a real game, publicity stunt for sure!

LJJ will only win one set if they beg Sigel to lay down for the sake of TV ratings. Know it All needs a reality check. I've been around Mike plenty of times since I was born and raised in MD. and had met him when I picked up my 1982 Joss from Danny Janes. My wife and I saw him at the 2003 Mosconi cup and he came up to me like a long lost friend. He's a class act through and through and if Know it All (who spelled Mike's name wrong) wants to wager, I'd be in line for a piece of that action too.

Hell, I'll take that game. Especially, if you're doing the offering. I can run more racks then she did in that match on a BAD day. Can't wait for that Allison Fisher and Efren Reyes match up. Yeah right! Talk about a one legged ass kicking session. You need to open your eyes and face the bitter truth that the women who are great players in their own right (matched up against other women) can't beat the professional men without a HUUUUGE spot, and even then I'll bet on the male pro. Maybe he could play her one handed jacked up or something. That should be FAIR in someone's mind!
 
Also...

Did you see the scores on the match? Mike was bored to tears I'm sure and trying for the sake of the sponsors and the viewers to not totally embarass and anihilate her.
