Sight replacement glue recommendation

Replacing MOP sights on GCII.

Is there a 'hot setup'/recommended glue to use? Gorilla glue/ 3M#????/ superglue/crazy glue/CA?

Do I need a relief hole thru the rail or deep enough to take excess glue?

Super glue gel

I've had good luck with using just a small drop of super glue GEL. I put a drop or two in the hole and then push in the sight while trying to spin it in the glue for more bonding surface. I have only used this on periodic sights here and there never to reglue an entire set. Some other mechanics will chime in who have more experience than me.

If you put excess glue of any kind it will squeeze out and create a mess.
