Should signature photos be the same size as avatars?

By the way, I have now turned off all avatars and signatures after "The Great Avatar Controversy of 2007"
 
Used the SIG delete fearure a while ago cause i was suffocating in shamless, sickening, spam. Am I missing something??:confused:

Nope, you turned them off for the same reason Hal put up this poll. Advertising pics etc..... huge advertising pics.

Signiture pictures get very obnoxious. Other forums that allow that kind of stuff are horrible, where in you have to scroll down an entire page just to get through 2 people's signature's. I would vote no pictures in sig. ;)

Hope all is well. Others took SIG spam to absurd levels. BEST of luck in your endeavers.

I think images in signatures are pointless and give you more to scroll through. Keep it simple, with small, readable font.
 
I have seen in some forums whereas members would use animation and really big signature graphic. Their respond may be one line such as "Yes, I think so." But then it will take almost half a page to scroll through. Some 10 pages thread would contain mostly the signatures.
